Pictures for a Calendar
These twelve tapestries, one for each month of the year, were woven between 1999 and 2006.
The pictures are mounted on aluminum frames measuring 57.5 x 31cm. The tapestries themselves measure 47.5 x 21cm.
As weft yarns, I used mostly silks besides some linen and cotton. ln some of the pictures, small amounts of wool or Lurex-yarns were added to create special effects.
